Sometimes people who like to sing don’t even realize they are singing so much. It’s a natural part of who they are, and they don’t think about the fact that others might sometimes be bothered by it.

Try talking politely with your sister about the problem. She may be glad to cooperate with your request that she not sing while you are doing homework. If this doesn’t work, then talk it over with your parents. They may help you come to an agreement that will be acceptable to you and your sister.
