We’re sorry that you don’t get to see your older brother and sister as much as you’d like to. Unfortunately, sometimes things like this happen and there isn’t much we can do about it. In such instances, it’s important to keep a positive attitude and to try to make the best of the situation.

Perhaps you can talk to your parents and explain how much you miss seeing your older siblings. They may have some suggestions for ways the situation can be improved. Also, we suggest that you let your older sister and brother know that you miss them and would like to spend more time with them. They may not be aware of your feelings. Once they know, perhaps they will try a little harder to spend time with you.

In the meantime, make good use of whatever time you do get to be with them. You can also write them short notes from time to time to keep them up-to-date on what’s going on in your life. It may help in drawing all of you closer together.
