My friend used to sit with me at lunch, but now he doesn’t.
I asked him why, but he ignored me.

If this boy no longer wants to be your friend, then you can’t
force him to do so. Perhaps you should turn your friendly attitude
toward others who will appreciate it. Of course, this boy may
change his mind at some point, but in the meantime you will find
others who share your interests and will be glad to have you as
a friend.
