What You’ll Need:
- clean half-gallon carton
- scissors
- tape
- construction paper
- white paper
- ruler
- crayons or markers
- glue
- poster board
- hole punch
- string
How to Make It:

Cut off and discard one of the long sides from a clean half-gallon carton.

Fold down the top of the carton, trim it so that its as flat as possible, then tape it in place.

Cover the outside of the carton with construction paper.

From white paper, cut out two 3½-inch squares and one 3½-inch-by-7½ inch rectangle. Color underwater scenes on them. Glue them on the inside walls of the carton.

Color the inside bottom of the carton a sandy color.

Draw a few fish on poster board and cut them out. Use markers to add details.

Punch a hole through the top of each fish. Tie string through the holes, and tape the strings to the inside top of the carton.

Glue shells onto the inside bottom of the carton.
