Fabric-Scrap Portrait

What You’ll Need:

• ruler
• scissors
• fabric
• felt
• yarn
• buttons
• tacky craft glue

How to Make It:

1. For the background, cut out a 1-foot-square piece of fabric.

2. Using fabric and felt scraps, yarn, and buttons, create a head and shoulders. Invent a character, or make a portrait of yourself or someone you know.

3. Arrange the pieces, and use tacky craft glue to attach them to the background. Give the portrait to someone as a gift, if you wish.
