Craft Image

How to Make It:

  1. For the porthole, use a round plastic lid from a takeout container or a plastic top from a ready-made pie crust.

  2. From construction paper, cut out a ship, water, and other details to make a scene that fits in the porthole. Glue the scene together, but don’t glue it in the porthole yet.

  3. Add a few dots of tacky craft glue to the front of the scene, and place it facedown on the inside of the porthole.

  4. Measure a piece of rope to fit around the outside edge of the porthole, or braid twine to make a rope. Glue it around the outside edge, using tacky craft glue. Let it dry.

  5. On the back of the porthole, use masking tape to add a twine hanger.
