Table Lantern for Diwali
What You’ll Need:
- tiny leaves
- glue
- small glass jar
- colored tissue paper
- paintbrush
- tape
- small candle
How to Make It:

Collect tiny leaves. Glue them around the outside of a clean, small glass jar with a wide mouth, such as a salsa jar.

Tear colored tissue paper into small pieces. Working on one part of the jar at a time, use a paintbrush to put glue over the jar and the leaves. Lightly press the tissue-paper pieces onto the glue. Cover the entire outside of the jar.

Roll a piece of tape, and put it on the bottom of a small candle. Set the candle in the jar. Ask an adult to light the candle.
