Doorknob Message Wheel
What You’ll Need:
- pencil
- large plastic lid
- construction paper
- scissors
- glue
- yarn
- ruler
- marker
- poster board
- metal fastener
How to Make It:

Trace a large plastic lid twice onto construction paper. Cut out both circles.

To make a hanger, glue a yarn loop near the edge of the lid. Glue one of the paper circles on the lid, covering the yarn ends.

Use a ruler and a marker to divide the other circle into six sections, as shown. Label each section with a different message. Glue the circle to the other side of the lid. Let the glue dry.

Draw and cut out an arrow shape from poster board. Outline the edges with a marker.

With an adult’s help, poke a hole in the arrow and through the center of the message wheel. Attach the arrow by putting a metal fastener through the holes.

Glue yarn around the edges of the wheel.
