Pencil Fort

What You’ll Need:

• tape
• brown paper
• clean, empty can
• twigs
• ice-cream stick
• paper
• markers
• tacky craft glue
• rubber bands

How to Make It:

1. Tape brown paper around a clean, empty can.

2. Collect a pile of twigs. Break the twigs so that each one is a little taller than the can, or ask an adult to use pruning shears to cut them.

3. Make a flag using an ice-cream stick, paper, and markers. Tape the flag to the outside of the can.

4. Glue the twigs around the can, using tacky craft glue. Use rubber bands to hold the twigs in place until the glue dries.
