What You’ll Need:
- marker
- ruler
- file folder
- glue
- twine or yarn
- heavy brown paper
- Velcro fastening strips
- cardboard
- scissors
- foam paper

How to Make It:
-
With a marker, draw an 8-inch square on one side of an open file folder.
-
Draw nine 2 3/4-inch-square boxes in the larger square. Glue twine or yarn along the lines.
-
Use heavy brown paper to make two pockets with flaps. With a marker, write X on one and O on the other.
-
Glue the pockets onto the folder opposite the tic-tac-toe grid. Glue Velcro fastening strips to the pocket flaps.
-
Write block letters X and O on cardboard. Cut them out. Trace around each one five times onto foam paper. Cut out the letters, and store them in the pockets.
- Glue a Velcro strip on each side of the file folder, as shown, to keep the game closed when youre not playing.
