How to Make It:

  1. Cut one thin cardboard circle about 3½ inches in diameter and one egg-carton cup for each hat. Make several hats for each player.

  2. To assemble the hats, glue each egg-carton cup to the center of the cardboard circle. Allow the glue to dry, then decorate each hat with paint, markers, yarn, buttons, pompoms, paper-punch circles, and bits of fabric.

  3. To make the ring, braid three long pieces of fabric and tie the ends together.

  4. To play, lay the ring on the floor or outside on the ground. Stand back and toss one hat at a time toward the ring. Whoever gets the most hats inside wins.
