What You’ll Need:
- scissors
- cardboard
- glue
- construction paper
or paint - pencil
- ruler
- tape

How to Make It:
-
Cut three 5-inch-by-7-inch rectangles from cardboard. Glue construction paper to the front and back of two of them or paint them.
-
Draw a frame on the third rectangle by measuring a half-inch in from the edges. Cut out the frame. (It might be easier to cut off each edge of the frame separately so that it is cut into four strips).
-
Glue construction paper to the frame or paint it, then let it dry. Glue the frame to one of the other rectangles.
-
Tape the edge of the first rectangle to the one with the glued-on frame so that they open like a book (with the frame in the middle). This will be your puzzle box.
-
To make the puzzle, draw a simple design on the piece of cardboard from which the frame was cut. Cut out the pieces, and color or paint them. Arrange them in the box.
