Catapult Game
What You’ll Need:
- tape
- colored paper
- box
- marker
- clothespin
- craft stick
- glue
- scissors
- egg carton
- paint
- cardboard
- rickrack
- button
How to Make It:

Tape colored paper to cover a box. Use a marker to color a clothespin and a craft stick. For a catapult, glue the clothespin to one end of the box, as shown. Glue the craft stick to the clothespin so that it hangs over the edge of the box.

Cut six cups from an egg carton, and paint them different colors.

Glue one cup to the craft stick, about a half inch from the end.

Cut a 6-inch circle from cardboard. Glue the remaining 5 cups to the circle. Write a number in each cup. If desired, use rickrack or cut paper to decorate the circle.
To Play: Place the catapult and the circle on the floor, about a foot apart. Place a button in the catapult cup. Hold the box in place with one hand, and push the catapult down with a finger from the other hand. Release the catapult, sending the button into a cup. Write down the number of the cup in which it lands. Players take an equal number of turns. Add the numbers at the end. The player with the highest score wins.
