What You’ll Need:
- pencil
- ruler
- file folder
- crayons or markers
- paper clips
- pennies
How to Make It:
-
Draw a shuffleboard triangle measuring about 6 inches long and six inches wide in the middle of one side of an open file folder. Divide the triangle into 2-inch sections. Color and label the sections.
-
Add two out-of-bounds lines about a half-inch from the shuffleboard, and draw a starting line about 1½ inches from the opposite edge of the folder.
-
Draw and color two ten-box scorekeepers along the sides opposite the shuffleboard. Label them“H” for heads and “T” for tails. Slip a paper clip onto each side for scoring.
To Play: Players take turns shooting their six pennies onto the shuffleboard. One player uses “heads”; the other player uses “tails.” After all the pennies have been played, the players count their scores and slide their paper clips along the scorekeepers. The winner is the first player to reach ten.
