Pick-up Stick Holder

What You’ll Need:

• scissors
• paper-towel roll
• pencil
• thin cardboard
• glue
• lightweight cardboard
• crayons, markers, paper

How to Make It:

1. Cut two inches off the end of a paper-towel roll. Keep both pieces. The small piece will be the top of the canister.

2. Trace around the end of the paper-towel roll onto a piece of thin cardboard. Cut out two circles. Glue one to the end of the large tube and one to the small tube. Let the glue dry.

3. Glue a 2-inch-by-6-inch strip of lightweight cardboard inside the open end of the long tube, as shown. Let the glue dry. The top will now fit over the piece of cardboard and attach to the long tube.

4. Decorate the canister as you’d like.
