Greeting-Card Fan

What You’ll Need:

• one tongue depressor or three ice-cream sticks
• glue
• greeting card
• hole punch
• yarn

How to Make It:

1. For a handle, use one tongue depressor. Or lay two ice-cream sticks side by side. Cover the line between them with glue, and lay another ice-cream stick over the glue. Press down. Wipe away the excess glue and let dry.

2. Open a greeting card. Spread a thin layer of glue all over the inside of the card. Place the upper half of the handle on the opened card, as shown. Press the card closed. Let dry.

3. Use a hole punch to make holes around the edges of the card.

4. Beginning close to the handle, weave yarn through the holes. Tie a knot or bow at the end. Use the fan to make a cool breeze.
