What You’ll Need:
- scissors
- ruler
- clean pint- or quart-sized milk carton
- brown grocery-bag paper
- tape
- colored markers
- wooden spoons
- glue
- rubber bands
- pens and pencils
How to Make It:
-
Cut off the top of a clean pint- or quart-sized milk carton so the bottom is 3 1/2 inches tall. Discard the top part.
-
Cover the carton with brown grocery-bag paper. Tape it in place.
-
Use markets to color about twelve wooden spoons. Glue the spoons onto the carton. Hold them in place with rubber bands until the glue dries.
-
Fill the holder with pens and pencils, and set it near the memo board. Keep some paper and pushpins handy.
