Leafy Bookmark

What You’ll Need:

• scissors
• thin cardboard
• glue
• construction paper
• leaves
• tissues
• clear self-adhesive paper

How to Make It:

1. Cut out a 2-inch-by-6-inch piece of thin cardboard. Glue construction paper to both sides of the cardboard.

2. Place a few small leaves between two tissues. Then put the leaves between the pages of a big book to dry for a few days. If you can’t find leaves, draw some on construction paper and cut them out.

3. Glue the dried leaves of both sides of the bookmark. Glue on cut-paper eyes or draw them.

4. Cut two pieces of clear self-adhesive paper, each slightly larger than the bookmark. Remove the covering from the paper, and carefully place one piece on each side of the bookmark. Use scissors to trim the excess.
