What You’ll Need:
- brown paper
- pencil
- ruler
- scissors
- glue
- crayons
- construction paper
How to Make It:
-
Fold a piece of brown paper in half. Draw a line across it 1 inch up from the fold. Draw a turkey resting on the line. Keeping the paper folded, cut along the line, around the turkey, then back along the line.
-
Unfold the paper. Fold up just the turkey on each side (not the bottom inch). Glue the heads together, then glue the tops of the bodies together. On the base, fold the crease inward to form a stand, as shown.
-
Cut out two wings from paper. Use crayons to add details. Glue just the front part of each onto the turkey. Bend the ends out a little.
-
From paper, cut out a head shape, an eye, a beak, and a wattle for each side of the turkey. Glue them on.
-
Cut out four tail feathers of varying sizes, and fold them in half. Cut four slits in the tail and insert the feathers, with the smallest in front.
