How to Make It:

  1. Collect five short pinecones, all about the same size.

  2. With an adult’s help, twist chenille sticks together to make one long wire.

  3. Connect the pinecones to each other by wrapping the wire around one pinecone a few times, then around the next, continuing around all five pinecones and then around the first again to form a ring.

  4. Decorate the ring of pinecones by gluing on small pinecones, bows, plastic beads, or small wads of aluminum foil.

  5. Place a candle in the middle of the ring, and use the candle holder as a table centerpiece.
