Umbrella Pet

What You’ll Need:

• scissors
• egg-carton cup
• markers
• chenille stick
• glue
• cotton
• toy animal, or wiggle eyes, paper book, and acorn

How to Make It:

1. Cut an egg-carton cup to look like an umbrella. Color it with markers.

2. Poke a hole in the bottom. Thread a short chenille stick through it. Bend one end under the bottom of the cup. Bend the other end to look like an umbrella handle.

3. Glue cotton inside the cup. Add a toy animal, or make a “reading nut” by gluing wiggle eyes and a paper “book” onto an acorn or other nut.
