Turtle Treasure Chest

What You’ll Need:

• small box with lid
• paper or paint
• scissors
• glue
• marker
• hole punch

How to Make It:

1. Cover a small box (with its lid on) with green paper, or paint it.

2. Cut out a large circle from paper for the head; four smaller circles for the legs; and a long, thin triangle for the tail.

3. Glue the smaller circles to the long sides of the box, two on each side.

4. Glue the large circle to the underside of the box at one end so that half of it shows. Glue the tail under the opposite end.

5. Make eyes with a marker, or use punched-paper circles. Decorate the lid to look like a turtle shell.
