Bolo Tie

What You’ll Need:

• frozen-juice-can lid
• stickers, yarn, cut paper or felt
• scissors
• plastic straw
• tape
• shoelace or yarn
• beads

How to Make It:

1. Decorate one side of a frozen-juice-can lid (the kind that pops off) with stickers, yarn, cut paper, or felt.

2. Cut two 1 1/2-inch pieces from a plastic straw. Tape them next to each other on the other side of the lid.

3. Thread one end of a shoelace or a piece of yarn through one straw. Thread the other end through the other straw. Thread both ends through one bead, as a clasp.

4. String beads on each end of the shoelace or yarn, then knot the ends.

5. Adjust the lid and bead-clasp to fit the bolo tie over your head.
