Button Necklace

What You’ll Need:

• buttons with holes
• scissors
• heavy-duty thread
• sewing hook and eye
• glue

How to Make It:

1. Make this necklace with just a few buttons or with many.

2. Cut two long strands of heavy-duty thread.

3. String buttons onto both threads in whatever order you choose. If you wish, tie large knots between the buttons so that they won’t scatter if the necklace ever breaks.

4. To wear, hold the necklace loosely up to your neck and tie the ends together at the back. Or securely tie a sewing hook to the strands at one end and a sewing eye to the strands at the other end. Trim off the threads. Put a drop of glue on each knot to secure it. When dry, fasten the hook and eye together.
