What You’ll Need:
- scissors
- ruler
- sandpaper
- crayons
- white paper
- old towel
- construction paper
- tape
- string

How to Make It:
-
Cut a 3-inch square from sandpaper.
-
Use crayons to draw a colorful design on the rough side of the sandpaper. Press hard and try to fill up as much space as you can with color.
-
Place a sheet of plain white paper on an old towel youve folded over several times. Put your sandpaper drawing facedown on the white paper.
-
Ask an adult to iron your drawing with a warm iron for about 10 seconds, until the crayon melts.
-
Carefully lift the sandpaper from the white paper to reveal the design.
- Cut out the design. Make a frame from another piece of paper and tape the design to it. Hang your sun catcher in a window.
