Father’s Day Card
What You’ll Need:
- glue
- toothpicks
- ice-cream stick
- scissors
- paint
- construction paper
- paper bag
- poster board
How to Make It:

Glue thin toothpicks across
an
ice-cream stick. Leave a small space between them. Let
them dry. -
With an adult’s help, trim the ends of the toothpicks to make a fish shape.

Paint the sides of the toothpicks that face you (not the side glued to the stick). Pick up the ice-cream stick by the ends. Press the painted side of the toothpicks against a piece of construction paper. Paint the toothpicks again with a different color, and press them on top of the first print.
- When the paint dries, tear around the painted fish shape, adding fins as you tear. Cut or tear rectangles, one slightly larger than the other, from colored paper or a paper bag. Glue them and the fish to a folded piece of poster board. Add paper bubbles and an eye.
