When the baby arrived with its soft baby toys and its bottles and diapers, the rule was — No noise!         Speak in a whisper, tiptoe around, turn down the music, don’t make a sound.         Shoes clipping-clopping? Just wear your socks. Don’t slam the screen door. Don’t spill the blocks.         Stifle those giggles. Don’t bang the drum. Be quiet! Be quiet!
