Dear Friend,

My exchange group and me

My exchange group and me

It’s time to go home. :-(

But I have lots of happy memories, and I’ve made more new friends than I could have possibly imagined! After I wrote to you about the hot springs, we went to the central part of Taiwan and spent a few days at hot-spring resorts. The water was 40 to 45 degrees Celsius (104 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit), and there were other springs that were 100 degrees Celsius (212 degrees Fahrenheit). You could boil an egg in those springs!

I’m a pro with chopsticks now, having survived a month without a knife and fork (although I did drop a few things on the table . . . and my lap). I didn’t get lost on the MRT subway system. And I even sang karaoke!

If you have questions about my trip, feel free to write to me through Contact Us. Thanks for checking out my e-journey!

Dzai jien,

Carla
