My friend always bosses me around!

We understand that it is annoying to be bossed around by someone, even a good friend. Some people don't realize they're being bossy; they're just natural-born leaders. In time, they often learn how to be more cooperative with others.
It may be possible for you to enjoy your friend without letting her bossiness bother you. Remember, you have a choice about what you do or don't do. If you don't want to do something your friend tells you to do, simply say that you prefer not to do that. Then stand your ground. You don't have to get angry about it, nor do you have to explain your reasons for not wanting to comply. If your friend insists on your obeying her, then walk away and join other friends.
You may need to do this several times before your friend understands that you will make your own choices. If you want to continue being friends with her, then be patient and persistent. However, if that doesn't seem to be working out, don't hesitate to be friends with other people. You can never have too many friends.
Be sure to discuss this situation with your parents. They may be able to give you some helpful tips on handling this situation.
