First, be sure to discuss your needs with your teacher. He or she may have some great tips for you. Here are some other ideas, too.
In the classroom, be sure to listen carefully to your teacher and make notes that you can review later. Ask questions if something is not clear.
See if you can do your homework soon after arriving home. That way, things you learned will still be fresh in your mind. When you do homework, you are practicing what you've learned.
If you study and review your notes every day, you won't have to struggle to learn many things the night before a test. And whenever a project is assigned, try to work on it a little every day rather than doing it all at once.
