Make a Simple Glider

Make a Simple Glider

Fold back one long edge of a sheet of printer paper, as shown. Turn it over, and hold it above your head. The folds should be under the front edge. Then let it go and watch it glide.

As with big gliders, the heavy front makes the glider gain speed. That motion forces air to flow underneath, making the paper glide.
