Do turtles have a heartbeat?

Turtles have a very strong heartbeat. As a matter of fact, college students often use turtles in studying the heart and its beat.

A turtle, like other reptiles, actually has a heart that’s built a little differently from yours. A turtle’s heart has three chambers whereas yours has four. But your heart and a turtle’s heart are very much alike in that they both keep thumping away to pump blood.
