I see colorful leaves falling from trees,
and I hear them crackle under my feet.
I smell the homemade pumpkin pie,
and I taste the warm apple cider.
I feel the cool breeze blowing softly,
and I say to myself, "You made it, autumn."

Lilies, lilacs, gardenias, and roses,
Archways, fences, and green garden hoses.
Pretty blue violets and colors that glow,
Red, orange, green, blue, purple, one big rainbow.
So many plants that I can’t name them all,
The sad thing is that they will be gone by fall.

I have a French poodle
who likes to eat noodles
she sits on my head
and draws lots of doodles.
She draws and until
she sees French poodles
she will never stop
eating noodles and drawing
very, very, very many doodles.

A ball
with spikes
on a tree.
When you touch
it hurts.
A ball
with spikes.

Cakes are nice
and I like them
kings like to eat them
everyone likes cakes
My favorite kind of cake is vanilla
a cake has frosting
kids love cake
everywhere people are making cakes
remember to take them home.

Wind blows through the willow trees,
A soft, warm, gentle breeze.
It stirs up the stream, cool and flowing,
A dreamy wind today is blowing.
It meets me on this pony, Cream,
In a lovely, windy dream.
It tickles my nose, runs through my hair,
Ruffles the forelock of this beautiful mare.
It leaves as quickly as it came,
The wind of course, is never tame.
The wind is silent, to my dismay,
But I know the wind will return another day.

Pumpkins are ripening,
Tree limbs outstretched bare,
Waiting for snow . . .

Pumpkin carving fun
Roasted pumpkin seeds, yum yum
Put a candle in

Somehow I feel there is a light.
And only the fireflies can control the magic light.
And without the fireflies there would be nothing
but
ever-
lasting
darkness.
