Many young people have a fear of the dark. I suggest you talk to your parents about your fear. Expressing your feelings is healthier than keeping them bottled up. Keep talking to your parents as long as you still feel any fear of the dark. Perhaps they can put a small lamp or night-light in your room.
Remember that things in the dark are no different from things in daylight. Think about what scares you and picture how those things would look in daylight. Focus your thoughts on cheerful things, and you may find it easier to relax and fall asleep.
