Becoming a better helper is a wonderful goal! If you look, you will see ways to help those around you every day. Perhaps your sibling could use help studying, your parents could use help preparing dinner, or a neighbor could use a hand carrying groceries. Even something as simple as a smile or a kind word can be helpful to a friend in need.
You could also look into other opportunities for helping in your community. Think about the talents and skills you have to share. Would you be good at activities such as doing outdoor cleanup, tutoring, caring for animals, fund-raising for charity, or helping at a food bank? With your parents’ help, you might reach out to local charities and volunteer organizations to see if they are in need of helpers.
