It may help to try to have a good attitude and take at least a little bit of everything at mealtime, even if you think you won’t like it. Just because you didn’t like something in the past doesn’t mean that you will always dislike it. You might tell yourself that you’re going to be a good sport and give different foods a chance. If you do this, you may eventually find that you’re eating a wider variety of food.
You might ask a parent if you can look through some recipes and help cook dinner sometime. Perhaps you will find that you’re more open to trying new foods if you’ve helped prepare them.
