Baobab Tree Bookends

• plastic bag
• sand
• round container with lid
• paper
• markers
• tape
• scissors
• cardstock
• glue

1. Fill a plastic bag with sand and place it inside a round container. Cover the top with paper.
2. For the trunk, use markers to decorate a piece of paper. Wrap it around the container so that it extends 1 inch higher than the top. Tape it in place.
3. Cut out branches from cardstock. Add paper leaves. Glue the branches inside the paper trunk.
