Sand Painting

• crayons
• sheet of sandpaper
• foil-covered baking sheet
• glue
• cardstock
• hole punch
• yarn

1. Use crayons to draw a picture on a sheet of sandpaper.
2. Place the picture on a foil-covered baking sheet.
3. Ask a parent to preheat the oven to 225°F, to bake the picture for 1 minute, and then to remove it. Let it cool.
4. Glue the picture to cardstock. Punch two holes in the top. Add a yarn hanger.
