Chocolate-Covered Pretzels

• Cookie sheet
• Wax paper
• Chocolate pieces
• Microwave-safe bowl
• Pretzel rods
• Sprinkles, candies, or nuts

1. Cover the cookie sheet with a piece of wax paper.
2. Put some chocolate pieces in a bowl.
3. With an adult’s help, microwave the chocolate for 30 seconds or until melted.
4. Ask an adult to dip the pretzels into the melted chocolate. (Careful! The chocolate may be very hot.)
5. Place the pretzels on the wax paper. Cover them with sprinkles, candies, or nuts. Let the chocolate harden. Enjoy!
